Esports is no stranger to disciplinary actions for players, and now Riot Games has revealed that 16 figures from the professional scene have been hit with warnings and in some cases fines for "negative behavior in solo queue during September". Below are those who received warnings:

Daniele 'Jiizuke' Di Mauro (VIT)
Amadeu 'Attila' Carvalho (VIT)
Minkook 'Dreams' Han (VIT)
Luka 'Perkz' Perkovic (G2)
Petter 'Hjarnan' Freyschuss (G2)
Dennis 'Svenskeren' Johnsen (C9)
Stanislav 'Lodik' Kornelyuk (GMB)
Zhen-Ning 'Ning' Gao (IG)
Uijin 'Rookie' Song (IG)
Li '4LivcloveR' Zhe (EDG)
Jaeha 'Mowgly' Lee (AFR)
Hyesung 'Comet' Lim (AFR)

Four players, however, are getting fines for reports of multiple instances of toxic behaviour over several games, including Danil 'Diamondprox' Reshetnikov, who is being fined $1,000 USD for his actions. Seunglok 'TheShy' Kang was also reported for feeding, griefing, and negative behaviour, getting the same fine.

Yeonsung 'iloveoov' Choi, however, is getting fined $1,500 for a high rate of reports (almost 80 games) and previous disciplinary incidents, while Jian 'Uzi' Zihao is fined $2,000. This is because he was also using an account not registered for him, and account sharing is prohibited under the League of Legends terms of service.

"We expect professional players and coaches to respect and abide with the LoL Terms of Service and the Summoner's code, maintain good behavior in and out of game, regardless of the actions of their teammates or the outcome of the game. These actions clearly violated the principle," Riot writes.

Are these fines fair?
