Lots of new Halo-themed toys are on the horizon, it was today announced in an article on the Xbox website and in a Tweet from the official Halo Twitter account.

The Halo Franchise has become a multi-billion dollar outfit, encompassing more than just a game series, and has featured toys from Mattel in the past. Bonnie Ross, Head of 343 Industries, has stated that she is "excited to work with Mattel to bring innovative, quality and, most of all, fun products to old and new Halo fans alike."

Joe Lawandus, of Mattel toys, has also expressed his feelings about this deal: "we're excited to expand our relationship with Halo and 343 Industries to create and collaborate on a borad range of multi-category toys and collectibles. Our new line for 2016 features something for Halo fans everywhere."

The new line of toys is going on sale later this year, and will be on display at the New York Toy Fair this weekend.
