While Nintendo made no mention of it at its pre-TGS conference, details of the second circle pad add-on for the 3DS handheld have landed online.
The clip-on frame, which rests the 3DS in a larger cradle with the second circle pad sitting directly opposite the original, will be released on December 10 in Japan alongside Monster Hunter Tri G, and needs one AAA battery to run. It'll retail for 1500 Yen (£10.20).
Monster Hunter won't be the only game that'll utilise the second pad;
numerous future titles will include two-pad setup as an optional control method, suggesting camera control will be mapped to the second pad. The games listed so far are:
Biohazard Revelations
MGS Snake Eater 3D
Ace Combat 3D
Dynasty Warriors VS
Kingdom Hearts 3D
