Nintendo has announced that the system update for Nintendo 3DS that will add the Eshop won't come out this month as previously thought. Instead the update will be made available on June 7 in Japan and June 6 in North America (hopefully around the same time in Europe).
Exactly what we can expect from the Eshop on day one is uncertain, but there is bound to be a selection of older Nintendo handheld titles available for download. Below is an image of the US $20 Eshop card looks as they are already available at Best Buy (image courtesy of Joystiq).
