A young boy, just five years old, has managed to find a vulnerability and access his father's account on the family's Xbox One console.

Kristoffer Von Hassel was able to access games that he wasn't supposed to be playing by inputting an incorrect password on his father's account, and then in the security verification screen hitting "Space" keys and enter.

This backdoor has since been closed by Microsoft, who've credited Kristoffer as a security researcher that helps secure Microsoft's online services. In a statement (via 10news, Microsoft said: "We're always listening to our customers and thank them for bringing issues to our attention. We take security seriously at Xbox and fixed the issue as soon as we learned about it."

For his trouble the young man in question will get four games, a year-long subscription to Xbox Live Gold, and $50.
Presumably he'll also be watched quite closely by the NSA from here on in.
