A first look at Star Trek: Discovery

Set ten years prior to the Original series.

This week we finally got a sneak peek at the upcoming television show Star Trek: Discovery (watch the teaser trailer below), scheduled to air on the American network CBS this fall before going All Access.

Expectations are high as with all Star Trek shows and movies, but the reception for this one has been of the mixed sort so far. Star Trek: Discovery is set ten years before the original series, and we'll get to follow the crew onboard USS Discovery - at least for the duration of the 15 episodes in the first season.
