A new story trailer has arrived for Sniper Elite 4

It's titled "Italy 1943" and it's the first story trailer in a new series.

Rebellion announced today a new story trailer series for Sniper Elite 4, the new entry in the popular shooter franchise starring Karl Fairburne, and the first one, that you can see below, is titled "Italy 1943". This story trailer describes "the intricate machinations behind the Allied invasion of Italy. Karl Fairburne will help release the country from the shackles of Fascism, fanning the flames of resistance, and in doing so uncover a terrifying Nazi technology threatening the whole of Europe".

Sniper Elite 4's Narrative Designer, Colin Harvey, offered more detailed in a blog post on the PlayStation blog, saying: "In Sniper Elite 4, Karl is plunged into a country that's been under the yoke of Mussolini's Fascism for over two decades. Political opposition to the regime was either crushed early on or escaped abroad. Now, though, discontent is growing."

Sniper Elite 4 will be available on February 14 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Have you already read our latest impressions on the game?
