Asobo Studio and Focus Home Interactive have revealed a brand new Story Trailer for their upcoming game A Plague Tale: Innocence, due to land on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on May 14.

The narrative sees siblings Hugo and Amicia battle against a hostile world around them, as the Black Death is spreading despair across the land. That's without mentioning the deadly rats and the Inquisition either, both of which are present across the Kingdom of France.

Pre-orders have also opened, and you can find them right here. These digital pre-orders come with extra outfits and coats of arms for the pair, while retail pre-orders have different benefits depending on the region.

In case you missed it, a documentary series has just been released that details the creation of the game, from the historical research to the two protagonists and how they were shaped, and you can watch the whole webseries right now.

Have you marked the release date on your calendar?

REVIEW. Written by Mike Holmes

"There are areas where Asobo can look to make improvements in the future, but the studio has delivered an engaging adventure that we thoroughly enjoyed despite its flaws."
