Asobo Studio and Focus Home Interactive's A Plague Tale Innocence is almost upon us, but before the release on May 14 we have a new Monsters trailer showing us the enemies we'll encounter in the game, as it's not only rats that will pose a threat to Amicia and Hugo's journey.

The English army is just one of these threats, but perhaps more menacing is the force known as The Inquisition, along with the mysterious master Vitalis. All of these villains pursue the siblings on their quest, and both will have to overcome them in this harsh and hostile world.

Regarding The Inquisition, Lord Nicholas is the "face of fear for the local populace," as the press release explains, and is the face you'll see as you try to escape in the game. He's brutal in his tactics, and will do whatever it takes to capture the siblings, so this is definitely a character to watch out for.

Last week we got an Overview Trailer too, so take a look at that if you're interested in how you'll be playing A Plague Tale: Innocence.

Is this on your radar?

REVIEW. Written by Mike Holmes

"There are areas where Asobo can look to make improvements in the future, but the studio has delivered an engaging adventure that we thoroughly enjoyed despite its flaws."
