Minecraft has already been available on Switch for a few days now, and since it released, several console owners have experienced unusual behaviour from the console. It seems that the Switch takes screenshots without the user having pressed the screenshot button.

What makes the situation even stranger is that when Switch is in standby mode, both inside and outside of the dock, the random screen capture activation reboots the console without the user having control.

Although there's still no official confirmation, this issue seems to be related to Minecraft, as all users who have a copy of the game are experiencing this problem. We don't know if the latest update released today fixes the problem, but apparently many players have solved it by performing a hard reset, which you can do by holding the power button for 10 seconds, then pressing it once more to turn the console back on.

Have you also encountered this strange issue on your Switch?
