At E3 this year Bethesda chose to show their hand by unveiling not one, but two projects that we might not see released for years to come - Starfield and The Elder Scrolls VI. While the initial reveal was exciting, fans are now eager to hear more, but that may take a good while.
Speaking to Eurogamer, Bethesda main man Pete Hines has confirmed that, while we may hear from Starfield "a while from now", news about The Elder Scrolls VI will be "a really long while from now".
He also assured fans that the timeline for Bethesda Game Studios titles hasn't changed, meaning that it'll be many years between projects:
"Timeframe-wise, it would still be about as long as you'd expect when you look at Fallout 3 to Skyrim to Fallout 4 to Fallout 76. It's still going to be those periods of time, that hasn't changed. Or at least, I don't think it will change from that based on what I know."
