Adam Hunter is back to kick some butt in Streets of Rage 4

An old friend is set to make an appearance in the upcoming return of Streets of Rage.

A lot of us with fond memories of the Streets of Rage series were slightly disappointed to hear that Adam Hunter wasn't going to be in Streets of Rage 4 and that he was being replaced by a brand new character: his daughter Cherry Hunter. Sure, Cherry looks cool too, but we didn't grow up fighting by her side.

Fortunately, it seems like we are getting the best of both worlds. During Nintendo's Indie World showcase late yesterday, it was revealed that Adam Hunter is in fact returning to the rageful streets, and he'll join returning characters Axel Stone and Blaze Fielding in the series reboot.

We even got a brand new trailer filled with some good ol' Hunter beatings, which you can check out below. Streets of Rage 4 launches in the first half of 2020 for PC, PlayStation 4, Switch and Xbox One.
