Sportswear giant Adidas is suing publisher THQ for more than $10 million USD. The company is claiming damages after THQ failed to deliver an agreed upon title called miCoach 24/7.

The initial report came from website Oregon Live (and was picked up by Edge), and it states that a deal was struck between the companies at the end of 2010, with the agreed upon title due for release in January 2012.

Created by Adidas, miCoach is an exercise-measurement device, and the game was set to support this technology. Even though THQ has failed to deliver the title as promised (citing their current financial predicament as the reason) it seems that the publisher still has hold of the work done so far, and so Adidas are taking them to court over failure to hand over materials to an alternative developer (of their choosing).

The German sports company is hoping a trial jury will award them no less than $10.6 million (that's £6.7 million GBP) and prevent THQ from transferring the rights to miCoach to a third-party.
