505 Games One and Three Zero announced that Adrift - an interesting space adventure - won't come out at the end of the year as originally planned, but the game will land in 2016 and it will be one of the launch games for Oculus Rift, as confirmed during the Oculus Connect event last night.

Adrift

Oculus VR staff identified Adrift as a perfect launch game for their long awaited VR system, and Palmer Luckey's company will support the Three Zero team in the development and implementation of support for Oculus. The game will be released on PC first and later on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Adrift is an immersive experience that inaugurates a new genre (FPX - First Person Experience) and it tells the story of an astronaut in danger. Lost in the silent ruins of a devastated space station, without any memories and with EVA suit heavily damaged, you're the only survivor, and you will have to understand the cause of the catastrophic events that ended the life of your crew. You will fight for surviving and will explore the remains of the station in search of valuable resources, and you will have to overcome the challenges of a hostile environment to repair the emergency vehicle and return home safe.

We had a chat with its creator, Adam Orth, at E3 and you can take a look at the interview below:

Adrift

REVIEW. Written by Bengt Lemne

"Overall, in spite of some enjoyable moments and some sights to marvel at, Adrift felt a bit too much like the wrecked space station itself."
