In the following interview, as recommended by Vlambeer's Rami Ismail, we checked out one of the creepiest experiences shown at Gamelab 2016's Indie Hub. Lead Designer Jordi García tells us more about the graphic adventure that is Agatha Knife:
"Agatha Knife is about a seven year old girl whose main concern in life is to bring balance to her worries, which are based on her need to work at her mom's butchery and butcher the animals. She's in charge of slaughtering them, but she also loves them because their friends, so she has to find a way to reconcile these two things and she will find the answer in religion, as everyone else".
Listen to the full interview for more on the point-and-click style defined by the team consisting on Jordi, Javi and Mariona, a gameplay demonstration, comments on mature and childish topics, sense of humour, or the indie development process behind the project. Agatha Knife is around 40% complete, plan is to launch on Q1 2017 on PC first, aiming for mobile after that. The interview also touches upon MechaNika, first game by Mango Protocol, based on the same universe and already available on Steam.
