A Kickstarter campaign has been set up for Madmind Studio's hellish game Agony, with the goal to keep to their target of Q2 2017.

On the page, they describe their aim as such: "Our main goal is to have Agony ready to ship PC, Xbox One and PS4, In Q2 2017. In order to do that we will need to expand our team and buy new hardware, which we'll do immediately upon reaching our founding goal. You can help us deliver you the most immersive and unforgettable experience possible."

Their main goal is the very hellish figure of $66,666 Canadian dollars, and a whole host of other stretch goals, such as a VR version at $125,000, boss fights at $175,000 and a very enticing Agony: Extreme Edition at $666,666.

Screenshots were also included in the Kickstarter page as well, and some Kickstarter gameplay went online yesterday, on Halloween no less. Do you think Agony looks worth the wait?

REVIEW. Written by Sam Bishop

"We thought we'd end up in horror heaven, but it turns out that Agony is actually a one-way ticket to generic video game hell."
