Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's Zombies mode has a lot to unpack, and it seems like some new secrets may have been leaked by an ex-employee on Reddit who, right after being allegedly laid off from the QA team at Treyarch, posted an AMA on the confidential project they were working on, just to bring attention to the case and to how bad they say they treat employees.
Of course the AMA got some good traction, and some sites grabbed some of the very hardcore details before they were removed.
It's mainly about Easter Eggs hidden in maps, as that was what the QA was for. For example, the "crooked man in a crooked house" riddle uttered by Samantha Maxis has already been proven to be true, so it seems that the leaker has at least some truth to their words. There's also proof of a Viking Boat puzzle at IX map giving a free perk, as well as some secrets related to the valves at Voyage of Despair's Engine Room and a Siren song underwater.
It's not the first time QA members working for game studios claim to be treated badly with their work conditions, but so far there's no official word by either Treyarch or Activision on the matter. In the meantime, the leak has indeed gathered attention, which is presumably what the goal was.
