The German tech site ComputerBase (translation via ResetEra) has run a series of performance tests on the GeForce GTX 1080 and Radeon RX Vega 64, measuring framerates in different games with and without HDR enabled.

While the GeForce GTX 1080 on average performed better and had a higher FPS, it experienced a much bigger drop in performance than the Radeon RX Vega 64 when HDR was enabled. On average the Radeon lost around 2% of the framerate, while the GTX 1080 experienced a 10% drop. In a game like Destiny 2, the Radeon experienced a 9% performance loss, while the GTX 1080 had a shocking 20% drop in performance.
