Animal Crossing Amiibos leak

The new Amiibos officially announced today (Ryu, Roy, Game & Watch, Duck Hunt duo, R.O.B, Mii Fighters) won't be the only Nintendo figurines fans will learn about this coming E3.

With the official reveal probably coming on Tuesday afternoon during Nintendo's E3 Direct, unannounced statues such as Animal Crossing's Isabelle, Totakeke, Mabel and Tom Nook, plus a retro version of Super Mario, have just leaked via NoE's official site:

As the Neogaf user who found this points out, the new Mario statue is probably related to the creative tool Mario Maker, which comes out in September as part of Super Mario franchise's 30th Anniversary.

Regarding the inevitable AC figurines, they're probably supported by the new 3DS design game Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, which is mainly focused on NFC collectible cards.

However, after the great success of New Leaf on the handheld, and with the obvious AC love found in Mario Kart 8, this could be pointing to a possible new main entry in the series. Animal Crossing Wii U anyone?
