The Mix in LA is an event which gives a chance for indie games to shine during the chaos of the E3 week, and at the event we got to talk to WarpedCore Studio founder Diego Almazan about a game called Aqua Lungers.
"Aqua Lungers is a competitive, undersea, treasure-hunting game for up to four players," he told us. "It's in a splitscreen, platformer type of format. What makes it different from other platformers, besides the splitscreen, is that you can dive down into the water and the controls feel natural when you move from one setting to the other. So it's very smooth, very responsive controls, and everything is kind of consistent, no matter what you're doing."
Does this sound like a breath of fresh air? If so, check out gameplay and the interview below.
