The Parisian-based studio responsible for the recently released Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit - Arkedo - has stopped working on games, and no longer has any employees.
The decision was made by studio bosses Camille Guermonprez and Aurelien Regard, who opted to take their respective careers in different directions. In a recent blogpost Regard explained that the company still existed, and that it hadn't gone into administration or anything like that, it's just that after working on Hell Yeah! for Sega, they felt they'd grown to their limit.
Moving forward they hadn't secured a deal to produce another game (although the post reveals two yet to be announced titles that have been completed and will be released soon), and so money was also an issue. They wanted to disband the company before finances began impacting on their ability to pay their staff, or as Regard put it: "it is important to know when to stop."
