Assassin's Creed Odyssey set for Nintendo Switch

Via streaming and only in Japan for now.

We were a bit shocked when Capcom released Resident Evil VII: Biohazard via streaming on Nintendo Switch in Japan, but we're even more surprised to learn that Ubisoft is doing the same with Assassin's Creed Odyssey, their biggest Assassin's Creed game to date.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey: Cloud Version was confirmed during the Japanese version of tonight's Nintendo Direct, and so far there is no word on whether this version of the game might make it over to Europe and North America. The Cloud Version will launch in Japan on October 5, the same day that sees the worldwide release of the game on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. You can check out the Japanese announcement trailer below.
