Persona 5: The Royal is the extended version of the critically acclaimed RPG from Atlus, featuring new content and redesigned game mechanics. This will be released in Japan in late October, and while players in Europe and America knew they had to wait a little longer for the localisation process to finish, during a special event this weekend developer Atlus announced a western release window for the JRPG - spring 2020.
Persona 5: The Royal will introduce a third trimester/semester to the already extensive in-game calendar of the base game, bringing new events, areas, characters, and activities with it. We already knew from the Japanese gameplay that some of the main game's mechanics have being reworked too, including the level progression and end-game grind being lowered, in order to allow one more dungeon and make it easier for returning players to play through the 100+ hours Persona 5 already offered.
Does this make you happy? If so, then you can always listen to the new battle theme to keep you entertained while you wait.
