Australian chainsaw artists recreates Doom's Revenant

In celebration of the release of Doom, Bethesda teamed up with Rob Bast, the number one Australian chainsaw artist, to create a true-to-life sculpture of the game's most iconic enemy, the Revenant.

The sculpture was created over a period of nearly 150 hours, and the final product is over 8 feet high, and is remarkably well done considering it was done with just a few chainsaws. The creation is to be exhibited in Melbourne's Australian Centre for the Moving Image from today.

It's been a long wait, but the latest Doom was finally released for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. You can check out the sculpture in the video below.
