In celebration of the release of Doom, Bethesda teamed up with Rob Bast, the number one Australian chainsaw artist, to create a true-to-life sculpture of the game's most iconic enemy, the Revenant.

The sculpture was created over a period of nearly 150 hours, and the final product is over 8 feet high, and is remarkably well done considering it was done with just a few chainsaws. The creation is to be exhibited in Melbourne's Australian Centre for the Moving Image from today.

It's been a long wait, but the latest Doom was finally released for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. You can check out the sculpture in the video below.

"This is a great port, despite all the visual sacrifices."

REVIEW. Written by Kim Orremark & Mike Holmes

"It's fast, intense, stylish, and bloody. It feels old without feeling outdated, and the pace of combat means that you'll want to play on for just a little longer."
