Indie studio Aurélien Regard has announced that their game Away: Journey to the Unexpected has launched today on PS4, with the Switch version landing on February 7, Xbox One on February 8, and PC (via Steam and Utomik) on February 13. If you can keep track of those dates, we also have a launch trailer to celebrate all of these arrivals.

We took a look at the game for a preview at the end of last year, and even captured the opening section to give you a taste of what to expect. All you need to know is that it's a first-person adventure packed with colour and varied characters while also mixing rogue-lite elements and light combat. You can befriend a tree, for example, which changes the way you play and see the world.

Languages available are English, French, German, Spanish, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, and Chinese, and as for prices, you can get the game for £13.49 ($16,99 USD, or 16.99€).

What platform will you be getting this on?

REVIEW. Written by Sam Bishop

"It's not perfect and the combat's a little clunky, but it's an easily digestible roguelite with some extra elements sprinkled in that you'll struggle to find elsewhere."
