Video games can be quite addictive, and whereas this is something that could distract one from performing sufficiently in one's professional life (if you let it), it's very rare to hear stories of famous soccer players being "obsessed" with video games to the point where it becomes a concern to club management.

But that is exactly the reported situation soccer player Ousmane Dembele finds himself in. According to Football365 Dembele's passion for video games has "sparked deep concern" within Barcelona.

Dembele joined back in 2017, and has struggled to maintain a consistent quality level since joining, but Liverpool and Arsenal have lately taken an interest in the player, but they're both said to be monitoring the situation, as Dembele's apparent gaming habit has resulted in "minor episodes of poor time-keeping or carelessness".

He also "lost track of time" while playing games with friends according to the report, which has resulted in general tardiness. It's said that Barcelona considers this a case of Gaming Disorder, something that requires professional treatment.
