May is to be a big month for Rock Band 4, developer Harmonix have recently announced. The game is to get lots of new updates, including new songs and artists. Perhaps the most anticipated is the arrival of double kick support for drums.

On top of this, we get the addition of some somewhat unorthodox characters to be playable as artists. Thorn and Miko, two heroes from the recently released shooter Battleborn are coming to the game. You can check them out in action in the video below.

What's more, throughout the month the game will receive a number of new DLC artists that are to be available to purchase. These artists include Deep Blue Something, Hozier, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Twisted Sister, and Warrant.

These updates will be dropping over the course of this month, and we will undoubtedly be seeing more updates in the months to come.

Rock Band 4
This may be one of the more odd cameos we've seen in gaming.

REVIEW. Written by Philip Lauritz Poulsen

"It's enjoyable solo, however, the game is by far at its most entertaining with other people involved, so the lack of online multiplayer is baffling."
