Starcraft II: Legacy of the Void
Battle.net suffered DDoS attack
All games offline for a brief period, Blizzard says things are now under control.

In the early (very early) hours of this morning Battle.net services for all of Blizzard's popular titles were down. Blizzard confirmed it was the result of a DDoS attack and later said the issues had been sorted.
The now rather infamous Lizard Squad took credit for the outtage, but as is always the case in these situation it's difficult to know if they are responsible. They did promise "more to come" so hopefully other game developers are prepared to meet the challenge.
