Capy Games' Below has had a rough ride. First we didn't hear of it for months, then December came and we were told that it had been pushed into 2016. Then we got a few more months of silence before we were told that it would release this summer. Well, Capy Games seems to like giving short notice, because now we've gotten some bad news.
They've just announced that Below has been delayed indefinitely. This is what they've written in the announcement:
"Our team worked hard to make that deadline a reality. But after a strong push, we've decided it isn't ready.
"We did a lot of soul searching. We knew we wanted to get it into your hands as soon as possible. We knew the game was there, and we're super proud of it, but we also knew it needed more time to make sure it lives up to our studio's standards, and the quality that you expect from our games."
Now they're going to go dark for a while, and the next time we hear from them they'll have a firm release date.
