Big changes are coming to Fortnite's BR map tomorrow

There are a number of changes coming to Fortnite's Battle Royale map, the free-to-play portion of Epic's colourful shooter. The BR map will remain the same in many respects, but there will be several new points of interest on the west side of the map. The new features will land on PC, PS4, and Xbox One tomorrow, January 18.

There's a new screen that gives us a glimpse of the Shifty Shafts mine, and there's a recently released dev diary and a new trailer below, both of which explore some of the changes in more detail.

Finally, it might be an aside, but it's an impressive one nonetheless, but Epic has confirmed that there are an incredible 45 million Fortnite players out there, and this weekend the game had an impressive two million people playing concurrently.
