Bioshock soars to the top of the UK charts ahead of PES 2017

Plus NBA 2K17 and Recore both debut in the top five.

It has clearly been too long since we last visited Bioshock hotspots Rapture and Columbia, and a starved audience demonstrated this by buying enough copies of Bioshock: The Collection to send it straight into first place in the UK retail charts. It's worth noting that all three games included in this collection also once debuted as number one back in the day.

As an individual game for a specific format, no game sold better than Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 on PS4 (which also debuted in second in the multi-platform chart). Physical sales where down 3% for the series, but we imagine it was more than compensated for by digital downloads. Elsewhere NBA 2K17 scored three points after its launch, and Xbox One / Windows 10 exclusive Recore debuted inside the top five. Here's the GfK Chart-Track top ten in full:
