Blade & Soul adds 'flashy' and 'action-based' Gunslingers

Today sees the launch of the Gunslinger class in NCsoft's MMORPG Blade & Soul. The new class "definitely adds a new bit of flair" to the game according to producer Jonathan Lien who we interviewed at Gamescom recently.

"It's a very flashy class, it's a very action based class. People who want to see themselves in kind of an action movie type of scenario, but it's definitely going to change the landscape of the game a little bit."

In addition to the new class there are also multiple system changes and new content going into the game with this patch, and there are further plans for new content.

"We're looking to launch the next expansion in this winter", said Lien. "It's going to be a full-on expansion, increased level cap, we're going to introduce ultimate skills into the game, we're going to introduce a brand new continent and all the content that brings. New story, characters, dungeons, raids, side-stories, so it's the whole thing."
