The Game Kitchen and Team 17 have revealed that Blasphemous - featured as part of Nintendo's Indie World stream today - will be releasing on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One on September 10, and there's even a release date trailer to see as well.
"Brace for a descent into a dangerous world where fast-paced, skilled combat combines with a deep and evocative narrative core. You will play as The Penitent One, a sole survivor of the massacre of the 'Silent Sorrow'. Exploring the nightmarish world of Cvstodia and unlocking the hellish secrets within, only you can free it from a twisted fate and reach the origin of your torment," the official description reads.
In this game you'll explore a non-linear world and use your sword called Mea Culpa to defeat enemies, using combos and special moves to do so, as well as gory executions. Customisation lies at the heart of Blasphemous too, and you'll need to pay close attention to these to defeat the many bosses.
