BLAST announces WePlay Esports as Russian broadcast partner

BLAST Premier, the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament organiser, has announced that is has partnered with WePlay Esports, in a two-year deal that will see WePlay join as the official Russian broadcast partner for the event runner.

The deal will see WePlay own exclusive broadcast rights for BLAST events in the CIS region, and will even begin with the BLAST Premier Fall Groups event, set for a September 16 start date, and will stretch to include the entire 2022 season.

"With their extensive expertise in Counter-Strike production, WePlay Esports will help to bring the very best of BLAST Premier to Russia for the remainder of the 2021 season and beyond. BLAST has always enjoyed great support and viewership in the CIS region and we look forward to maintaining our industry leading esports production and entertainment for the community to enjoy."
