It wasn't clear if Inti Creates' eShop game Blaster Master Zero would support the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller on the release, but today the developer announced on Twitter that the game will get a patch on March 16, so players who want to use the Pro Controller only have to wait a week.

Using the original Blaster Master game as a base, the game is an 8-bit experience which combines the NES-style with the current generation hardware to optimise the game. This includes new areas and bosses, and new gameplay elements such as extra sub-weapons, improved gameplay when battling outside of your Sophia 3rd tank, a more robust scenario, and expanded exploration mechanics.

Blaster Master Zero releases today on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS. Is the temporary lack of Pro Controller support a big issue for you?
