Vice President of Blizzard, Jeff Kaplan, took the stage at DICE 2017 during yesterday's keynotes, and he spent his time talking about the world building inside the games industry, and Blizzard's cancelled online role-playing game Titan, revealing some interesting information about the shift to Overwatch.
We all know that Blizzard worked on Titan for over seven years before eventually cancelling the game in May 2013, and apparently they re-used lots of the assets for Overwatch. A whopping 140 people were allegedly working on Titan when the development process was shut down, and 40 of those were given an ultimatum, meaning that in only six weeks they came up with the idea for Overwatch.
Would you have liked to see how Titan would have turned out, or is Overwatch a satisfactory result?
