Block N Load's Kira-Chan now playable for free

Jagex Games Studio has announced that Block N Load's dual-machinegun-toting, J-Pop superstar Kira-Chan is now playable for free. This is part of the game's free hero rotation model that offers players the chance to play as a new hero for a limited period of time for the grand total of zilch.

Originally introduced in September, Kira-Chan brings customised twin SMG's, a Kitty Cannon and an ultra-attack option to the Block N Load battlefield. As well as her fully automatic weapons and grenade kittes, Kira uses unique Popstar Portals for surprise teleportation attacks against enemies, opening up new tactical opportunities for players.

The J-Pop assassin takes the place of gentlemen-marksman Sir Nigel Purdey-Longshot - one of the original characters available as part of the game's free hero rotation. To continue using Nigel players will now have to purchase him from the Block N Load game store.

Block N Load originally launched back in April and transitioned over to a free-to-play model in October. More information on Block N Load's free hero rotation and updates on its roster of heroes can be found on the game's official website.
