PSVR exclusive Blood & Truth might sound like a Guy Ritchie film packed to the brim with cockneys and violence, but it's actually a game from London Studio, and we now know courtesy of Sony's State of Play livestream that it's launching on May 28, with more details given on the PlayStation Blog.

London Heist was a very short experience that came with the launch of the PSVR headset, and Simon Hermitage - lead designer of PlayStation VR Worlds - explains that the gangster film setting made it extremely popular. This is where Blood & Truth comes in, as a project to "not just replicate this laser focus on immersion and interactivity, but to push it to the next level."

Hollywood producer and director Rick Porras helped with motion capture, with actors like Colin Salmon also working to bring this fantasy to life. Interactivity is a big part of this as well, like finding items in the environment and taking cover in the world. There's also inventory on your body as well, so you can grab ammo, guns, and more straight from your person.

Grime artists and a full 90-piece orchestra have combined for the gritty soundtrack to suit England's capital city, meaning we can expect great audio quality when seeing all these landmarks in the game.

The blog post also reveals pre-order incentives as well, as those who pre-order from the PlayStation Store will get three avatars for PSN IDs - Carson, Ryan Marks, and Kayla - a digital artbook, and a digital soundtrack.

We even have the new story trailer from the State of Play stream for you to watch down below, and for more on the game be sure to check out our preview. Can this provide a memorable VR experience?
