Yes you did read that title correctly. Borderlands: The Handsome Collection is free on the Microsoft store at the time of writing this article.

There has been no official announcement by developer Gearbox or publisher 2K of this deal, however, and it could be a free for a day, maybe the weekend, or it could just be a glitch in the system. You can get the game here, but if you have a PS4 you'll be out of luck, as it isn't free on the PSN Store, unfortunately.
