The Overwatch League team, the Boston Uprising, has announced that it has parted ways with DPS player and league veteran Terence "SoOn" Tarlier due to visa issues. SoOn originally joined the Uprising back in December 2020, following being released by the Paris Eternal a few months prior. With this release however, the question of whether we'll get to see SoOn in the OWL this year has to be raised, as getting a contract this close to the start of the season does seem unlikely.

"It hurts to have to let SoOn go due to circumstances out of our control," said Chris "HuK" Loranger, President of the Uprising. "We were all looking forward to having SoOn on the team this year and we tried our hardest to get him here. We wish him the best of luck moving forward in his career."

The next season of the Overwatch League is set to kick off in a few days, April 16 to be exact, when the Houston Outlaws take on the Dallas Fuel at 8pm BST / 9pm CEST. Be sure to catch the action over here.
