Another huge signing for the 2021 Overwatch League season has been announced as the Boston Uprising are looking to add Terence "SoOn" Tarlier to its ranks. Announced over Twitter, this roster addition will see the veteran presence head to a third-team in his OWL career, after playing for the Los Angeles Valiant, the Paris Eternal and now Boston Uprising.
As part of the announcement, the Uprising released a post on its Overwatch League page where team General Manager and President of Gaming at the Uprising, Chris "HuK" Loranger stated; "Aside from his excellent hitscan play, we value SoOn's long history in competitive Overwatch. As a seasoned veteran, we hope he will be able to share some of his knowledge with our younger players and bring a strong veteran presence to the Uprising."
The Boston Uprising has been restructuring its roster after the events of the 2020 season saw them regarded as the worst team in the League. For 2021, the Uprising has added Jin-ui "im37" Hong, Seo "Stand1" Ji-won and SoOn now, and while it is still challenging to suggest this team will be a powerhouse roster, hopefully Boston can look to string together a better season than they did last year.
What do you think about the addition of SoOn to the Boston Uprising?
