While it has spent months and months in active beta, where players from across the globe has helped CD Projekt Red tweak the balance of the game, it would seem that Gwent: The Witcher Card Game is finally ready for an official launch. Not only that, the story-centric single player RPG which uses Gwent as means of combat, Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales has also received a release date.

In a new development blog, CD Projekt Red has revealed that Gwent: The Witcher Card Game will exit the beta stage and launch on PC on October 23rd through GOG, and then launch on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on December 4th.

Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales will launch around same time, October 23rd to be exact on GOG, and then on December 4th on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game is described as a combination of "narrative-driven exploration with unique puzzles and card battle mechanics", where you must explore both Lyria and Rivia, which stands on the brink of a Nilfgaardian invasion.
