Both PlayStation 4 (System Software 4.05) and Nintendo 3DS (Firmware Ver. 11.2.0-35) are getting an update patch as of today, and coincidentally enough, both official descriptions talk about improving "the quality of the system performance" and "further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience", which in turn usually means two things: no actual new features for users to enjoy and, most likely, security measures updated for potential piracy exploits.

The size of the the updates are very small, with the PS4 update only being 297 MB, so they shouldn't be too much of a disruption to download. Do you notice anything else acting differently on your system? Leave a comment below.
