Bulletstorm 2 was in development

It has been revealed that Polish developers People Can Fly started work on a sequel to Bulletstorm (2011).

"We thought a lot about a sequel, and had done some initial development on it, but we found a project that we thought was a better fit for People Can Fly," Epic's Mike Capps told Gamespot.

Instead People Can Fly are working on a different project, that will be revealed in the near future:

"We haven't announced that yet, but we will be announcing it pretty soon."

It remains to be seen if Bulletstorm 2 has been terminated altogether, or if the sequel may still see the light of day at some point.
