Newly founded three-person indie team Pixel Arc is made up of devs who have previously worked on retro-style platforming games and beat 'em ups like Katana Zero, Paprium (a game that we've been dying to play for two full years now), and Freedom Planet 2. Their first project is called "Bushiden" and it's looking like some sort of throwback to games such as Contra, Ninja Gaiden, and Strider. Consider us intrigued.
The studio is after funding over on Kickstarter so it can finish the game, and they're after a little over £50K to get it done. Check it out below, and follow the link for more gameplay details and stretch goals if the screenshots and trailer below are enough to whet your appetite.
