In the three days since the ESRB rated something called Call of Duty: Black Ops III Zombie Chronicles, we speculated that this was the zombie-centric DLC to Call of Duty: Black Ops III a few retailers listed last week, and so it was, as officially revealed by Treyarch.
The developer has now officially announced that the expansion will indeed include eight remastered zombie mode maps, which are as follows:
Three maps from Call of Duty: World At War
• Nacht Der Untoten
• Shi No Numa
• Verruckt
Four maps from Call of Duty: Black Ops
• Kino Der Toten
• Ascension
• Shangri-La
• Moon
One map from Call of Duty: Black Ops 2
• Origins
The only thing retailers got wrong was the release date... kind of. The PC and Xbox One versions will as they claimed launch in June, but PlayStation 4 players can purchase it on May 16.
Which of these are you most looking forward to seeing remastered?
Update: Activision has since confirmed that the DLC will cost £24.99, and on top of all these maps players will also receive the following:
20 Vials of Liquid Divinium
Two new Whimsical GobbleGums
Exclusive Zombies Pack-A-Punch Weapon Camo
Black Ops 3 Zombies Chronicles Dynamic System Theme for PlayStation 4 (exclusive pre-order incentive)
