Today we got confirmation that Activision is indeed preparing a collection with the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare trilogy, through a listing on Best Buy. But contrary to what was expected, this collection is not related to the recently announced Modern Warfare Remaster, and will only offer the original console versions.

According to the listing, this collection will include Modern Warfare, Modern Warfare 2 + Stimulus Package DLC, and Modern Warfare 3. The store also lists a May 17 release date at $29.99, and only for PS3 and Xbox 360. There's currently no confirmation that this bundle will hit European retail shelves.
