Camp Nou exclusive to PES 2017, won't appear in FIFA 17

PES fans were left wondering how Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 would look in terms of La Liga's teams and stadiums this year after EA announced a exclusive partnership with the Spanish league for FIFA 17 earlier this month. However, at E3 PES 2017 brand manager Adam Bhatti told Gamereactor that fans just should be patient, wait and see, as they still had some announcements to do in terms of licensing. And it turns out that not only PES 2017 has confirmed full representation of teams such as Atlético de Madrid or FC Barcelona, but also that, according to the premium partnership between the latter and Konami announced the day before yesterday at Camp Nou, the 'coliseo blaugrana' will actually be exclusive to PES 2017, and thus not present in FIFA 17.

"Can't wait for them to see Camp Nou in-game, exclusively in PES2017", posted Bhatti on his Twitter right before interview and hands-on time for the event from which Gamereactor will have new details on both the deal and the new build of the game pretty soon.

What is ironic though is that many fans thought the FIFA 17 La Liga deal would mean a better depiction of the Spanish competition with perhaps more stadiums being recreated in-game, thus closer to the Premier League and at least more than the usual Bernabéu (Madrid), Calderón (Atlético), Mestalla (Valencia) and Camp Nou (Barça), but it turns out FIFA 17 will be losing one of the main arenas for this year's edition (and for however long the deal between Konami and Barcelona runs).

Full lists of licensed rosters and stadiums for both PES 2017 and FIFA 17 should be available in the next few weeks, around Gamescom.
