By now, most of you are surely aware that Cyberpunk 2077 unfortunately wasn't finished by the time it was released and quite a lot of work remains. During an investors call, the company has now addressed how they will deal with this, and Michal Nowakowski from the board says that the massive cost is "irrelevant" as the reputation of the company is at stake:

"The cost of patching the game is irrelevant [compared] to what we have at stake at this moment, so there is no question about it. We definitely want to fix the game, we made our promise to gamers, and we will be doing everything to stick to it."

Unfortunately, the problems are so massive, we suspect it will take quite a while before everything ironed out. If this also means we'll have to wait longer for proper versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X is currently unknown.
