Fire Emblem: Three Houses has been causing many a conversation in the gaming community, especially for fans of the Nintendo Switch, because the long-awaited return of the Fire Emblem franchise has been met with a rather positive response (check out our review here), which seems to have also translated into sales.
Christopher Dring of GamesIndustry.biz (who usually brings us the charts) has taken to Twitter to reveal that Three Houses has clinched the top spot in the UK physical charts this week, selling almost double the amount that 2013's Fire Emblem Awakening achieved.
On top of that, it more than doubled the combined sales of the first two Fire Emblem Fates games, as well as more than doubling the sales of Wolfenstein: Youngblood too, the latest Nazi-shooting title from Machine Games that entered the charts at number two.
We don't yet have the full top 10, but we will update this piece when we do. For now though, check out our video review of Three Houses below, and if you've been enjoying it this past weekend, bear in mind that New Game+ awaits when you finish, along with a Lunatic difficulty landing at a later date.
